What exactly is the FSB voltage on gigabyte boards?

Hi all, the title says it all but the back story is i recently had to replace my p35c ds3r due to a borked fan controller, to get the same fsb as my previous overclock i had to bump the FSB voltage setting.

I didnt have to touch this before and im just curious which part of the board its feeding.

The FSB is the Northbridge and the MCH is the southbridge.

The MCH is the Intel name for the northbridge (Memory Controller Hub).

Hm, yeah i thought MCH was the northbridge, so FSB is the southbridge?

FSB voltage is VTT (I/O bus voltage to/from the MCH), the connecting signal voltage between CPU/MEMORY/PCIE/SB/NB

Well i got that from a HardOCP mobo review so they must be wrong then.

Northbridge = NB/MCH
Southbridge = SB/ICH
FSB = VTT
RAM = Vdimm
CPU = Vcore
