Hi All,

Fancied one for years and finally got what i thought was a decent right hand drive in June.

I`ll let the pictures do the talking but it`s taken waaaaaaay longer than i anticipated with a few surprises here and there. Nothing too serious though but just a lot of extra work.

Almost at the point of painting now.

Before we could start shotblasting, we had to clean off all that tar cloth stuff that some previous owner has plastered all over the wheel arches.

Nightmare of a job.

Wow, that looks a lot better then the Tar picture. I say slap a Porsche engien in the back tbh.

Rather than use sandpaper and buffs to remove layer upon layer of paint, we used paint stripper. Faster and easier and means that when you apply the new paint, there is no "cellulite" marks from the old paint underneath.

Shell almost restored but just when you think you`ve caught everything, something else catches your eye which turns in to a 3 hour job
