Whos ditching 8800 for new rev?

Nope if it sells it will cost me £10.65

Does that include the Paypal fees?

I'll make 2.19 on the postage so net selling price will be just over £161

Therefore would have to sell on MM for close to £169 including postage to match.

In saying that somebody bought one yesterday for £165 inc delivery so there are people on mm who will go that high.

Wait and see what happens...

12th November is what is been quoted. A fortnight after the GT. You can only handle so many cards been launched on the same day ;)

Oh that's bad news for me. Was hoping to get my new build before the 9th to get ready for Gears of War. GT is the way to go then.

Who's getting shot of another 2900 for a 2900?

Well theres ppl on about ditching their 2900's and buying them back again, but theres no point getting shot of one and buying another, may as well just swap brands lol, it could be a downgrade even, seen as the new 2900's have a bus cut as well, only cards 2900 owners should be going to are the GT/GTS/GTX's, not same cards with a bus cut, thats madness.

I know this is ditch 8800 for GT/GTS/GTX but do you think I should punt my nearly 2 week old 2900Pro for one of the new ones? (8800GT/GTS or HD38xx).

I'm running a friends 8800GTX right now and it's scoring the same as my 2900Pro in 3DMark06. Gaming is the same also. My CPU and RAM are holding both of them back :(. I will be upgrading my system after the year though and would like to own the card that will release the most raw power for my gaming from a CPU/Motherboard/RAM upgrade.

Tbh jd if your system is holding back a 2900 and a gtx then no point in getting a gt either as that will have the same problem save yourself the hastle and wait till the upgrade next year when you will see a real boost in performance especially if you put in a next gen card.

No one cares lol

You failed "the easy Shuffle":D

Thread is too big to read all the way, so sorry if this has been asked before. But will these new cards be priced higher then current cards? or will they be priced the same, with the current cards droping in price slightly?

Wait until there's a review on a decent site first but it's thought around the £140 mark for these.

No, no, these cards are the result of a die shrink, these cards should be a bit cheaper.

Hey that gigabyte x38 is getting a bit long in the tooth too.

The X38 is not for the light hearted.

In testing it blows P35 away in terms of vcore stability.

cpuz 1.41 does not work

1.41.1 is needed

Its great messing with cutting edge hardware:p

Each to their own but i don't see the point of swapping out your Abit-ip 35 pro for that though.
There's clever upgrading and there's obsessive upgrading for the sake of upgrading.

At 30 quid I would hardly call a chipset upgrade obsessive.

P35 did not get my quad 3.8ghz stable

X38 did

Pointless upgrade IMO and I doubt he can squeeze any more out his Quad, his CPU is already maxed out with others hitting higher clocks with P35's this proves it.

Also

"Easy Shuffle"

get your head out your anus Easy your the only one that uses the phrase here...
