Has anyone ordered from ASDA @t home before? Because ive ordered somthing quite cheaply, and i suspect it may have been a mistake;

The terms and conditions on the site state that i shal pay the full price instore that day. But they have already taken my card/bank details:confused:

I guess this means that I will get an invoice of the actual price that I have to sign on the date of delivery, and then my bank will debit after that??

Could somone please clarify the process if they have ordered before?

THANKS in advance :)

I haven't ordered from Asda before but I have from Tesco, so I'll assume the policy is the same that you sign at accept the price or hand it back to the driver.

yeah er, ok well I (and at least 4 other people i know) ordered 24 x 20bottle packs (480 bottles for £2.40) dont think ill be paying the full price

The main reason i did go for it is because a couple of years back i remember getting 18 cans of strongbow for £2 or something similar anyone remember
??

I have used ASDA before and I find you put stuff into the website and there is no record of it on your receipt (and no free food either ;)).

Basically saying I've gone back to Tesco until ASDA get it together.

Its early days yet for ASDA, I think they are a lot better than Tesco (Meat and Fresh veg wise). I shop there when I need too. If I'm not feeling like bringing 10 ton of shopping home in my panniers I get Tesco in.

I find with tesco everything runs close to the sell by date, ASDA stuff is fresher

I'm in Leicester btw, it might be different in your area

On the same matter as ASDA, (where I work by the way) I found it highly amusing that someone went to fill the new vans up at the petrol station for our new online dept only to fill 2 vans full to the brim with petrol then attempt to start them both, I bet that was a dear fix.

Where they sposed to put diesel in? i guess lol

Siphon it out, fill back up with diesel maybe get some mates to shake the van & slosh it up some :D You'd be ok but Im not sure its easy to siphon out..
Main thing is you dont actually go anywhere on the petrol

What they mean is if something is BOGOF until the 24th Oct, you order on the 22nd for delivery on the 26th you'd expect the BOGOF but wouldnt get it as on the day of the delivery the offer had finished

Tescos do the same
