680i Bios update P31

Any body updated their 680i motherboard bios to P31? Apparently this new bio release Resolves issues with G0 stepping CPU’s and improves 1333MHz FSB Core 2 Quad and Duo stability and overclocking.

If you are a user and updated to this P31 bios can you give feed back please for evaluation.

Hi,

Updated my XFX 680i lt to the new 06 bios which was quoted as having the same benefits and I have to agree it helped a lot with my E6750.

Was stuck at 400/3.2 (420fsb was unstable) but it is now sitting happily at 450/3.6 and it hit 500/4.0 temporarily.

ooh, new bios.. my quad was fine at 400x9, better check it out...

If it allows a significantly higher clock, i wont be happy, as i've just sold mine :mad:

Did you get an x38 board V|per?
