....anyone going to see them in various places in December? I'm going to the Newcastle show - I can't wait. Hoping they play a load of their old favourites and, of course, Geordie in Wonderland :D

Don't think that's even possible. From what he was saying, he's wanted to live there for ages and now seemed the right time. He's back for the dates later this year and next year...And some other fun things are in the pipeline.

No way, surely that accolade goes to Motorhead!!

Motorhead play the same song over and over.

The first time I ever saw Motorhead was at Top Of The World Stafford and the audience was made up of rockers, punks and teddy boys.
Nobody seemed to know what category to put them in.

Probably the best band in the world.
Crikey, that's some endorsement.

I have to admit, I'm a latecomer to The Wildhearts. I mean, I heard I Wanna Go way back when it was on a compilation rock album I bought......I dunno, in my teens sometime and never really thought more of it, until about a year ago. Been slowly completing my catalogue over the last 12 months - all done now, well, pretty much :D

Last geordie gig they opened with Vanilla Radio and EVERYONE immediately started pogoing.

Ginger can do know wrong; one of the greatest songwriters the world will see.

Not sure where you heard that, but it's not correct.. I work with his Girlfriend..

I lived right next door to him until he moved.

Ask her if he said goodbye to a big guy with a beard as he left the estate he lived on. She was in the Jeep with him.

They didn't play that the last time they came to Newcastle Carling Academy... but I was more gutted about the lack of 29x The Pain. Heh, this will be the third WH gig that I've been to since their "last gig ever" in Scarborough :)

Only a week to go. :D

All I have to do now is search my flat for the super-dooper secret hiding place where I stashed my tickets, but can't seem to locate

Glasgow Academy for me. Quite excited... Hope they play a bit more new material this time though, talk about a missed opportunity... After the Glasgow show last time Ginger was complaining about playing all the old songs, and the fans were complaining about not getting Slaughtered Authors. Best band ever? Definately a contender.

PS, Almighty tour in January
