Put a deposit on one at Phones4u. Wouldnt normally use them but the deal seems quite good.

Either the £50 a month 1200 minutes unlimited text deal, with the phone free, but £45 a month

Or

£40 a month, 750 minutes, unlimited texts and the 120mb internet package included. Phone also free.

Seems like a damn good deal. They get stock in this afternoon.

£40 a month? I could only see a £45 a month with a free phone but its still good value as the phones free and you get unlimited Internet as well. Only thing stopping me is the fact its an 18 month contract and it would cost a lot of money if I wanted to buy out after 12 months plus I only pay £30 a month so a 50% increase is a lot!

Do you know if that is the date it will be available? or when they will say its coming out on such a such a date

When my work colleague phoned his T Mob customer service dept they told him this date (well in reality they said between Jan and Feb).

Just picked it up. Deal awesome.

£45 a month, 750 minutes, unlimited texts, phone free, voda £7.50 a month internet pack for free, oh and £70 yes £70 cashback

Phone? Played with it for 10 minutes. Its really nice, feels solid and well built. Pleased so far.

Just got mine...

On Vodafone, 750mins, 250txts, free landline calls, free internet. £45, free phone.

It's not out of the box yet! Will get cracking.

EDIT: Hang on, did I just get the same as Fox but worse? Bah!

Grrr can I be bothered? £70 cashback is the only difference (I went for free landline calls, he went for free texts). But it is £70.
I got a good number with this one though, got lucky!

EDIT: Also really tempted to put mine on eBay if they go for silly amounts.

EDIT 2: How the hell do I get to my videos?! Can't find Spiderman 3 etc on there! The leaflet says go to "Video Centre" - there isn't a video centre on my menu...

I've read the instructions, and tried everything I can! I'm just a bit of an idiot.

Heeeeeelp :(

Thanks! Why the hell would they put it in tools...
The instruction manual is wrong! Bad Nokia.

Hi guys.

Yea, was just £70 cashback - no tradein or anything. Pretty chuffed with that.

Anyway, playing with the phone, loving it so far, only a few criticisms:

a) I cannot get rid of the Vodafone logo that pops up on the whole screen after 60 seconds
b) You can't use the satnav without a) Using data transfer and.. even better.. b) paying nokia even more money? Huh?
c) It's miles faster than a normal N95 but it still struggles at times to keep up.

Otherwise, awesome.

menu > tools > video centre, it confused me as well when i first got it

If you slide the phone down to panoramic view, and then press up once, there is your video center.

As for the N95 8GB being faster, i don't find my N95 slow at all. Menu navigation is nippy, only slowness is when browsing the net using the built in browser on some forums where it would load and bit and then stops completely until it gets more data. Using Opera Mini solves that thou.

As for Sat Nav using data..yup, that sucks, still trying to figure out how to use it without the data payment thing. Because if I am in the middle of nowhere without a phone signal then it can't connect via GPRS hence it won't locate my position, but obviously can get Sat nav. That totally defeats the purpose of the Sat Nav. Do I need to get Route 66 or something?

If you go to Themes, Power Saver, Animation and then select whatever image you want (i've got the spidey 3 screensaver), that should get rid of the vodafone image.
