change now or wait???

Hi all i popped into phones 4u and i have 6 months left on my sony ericson k800i, however they said they could sort it out where i took a new phone now, cash back to pay remaining contract out. the only catch i saw was i would have to change my number.
they showed me the K850i,and couldnt stop saying how good it is. the camera was better than mine and apart from the touch screen the software seemed much the same.
so, the question......should i change now to get a new phone or are there better ones out now or wait??

Change it, who cares about keeping the number? Text the people you want to have the number your new one and thats it.

That way, the people you DO NOT want to have your number anymore, dont

Well to some people that could cost a small fortune. You obviously have few friends

I see both sides to that... But with me I have a tariff with 1000 texts a month, so it's not gonna bother me to send a load of texts as a one off to everyone...

It's pretty common that everyone would usually have at least 500 texts a month free nowdays...

Quality not quantity

Early reports seem to point towards the fact that the K850i isn't as much of a must upgrade rather than a nice upgrade at best, so it really depends on the cost of changing over really.
