looks like Jol is off

Shame really its funny watching them crumble

Martin Jol has agreed severance terms with Tottenham Hotspur and is expected to take charge of his last match for the club against Getafe tonight.

Juande Ramos has agreed to become the new manager at White Hart Lane at the start of next season, although he is coming under heavy pressure to take the reigns sooner.

The match at home to Blackburn Rovers on Sunday is likely to come too early for the Seville manager, however, and Clive Allen is expected to take charge for that match.

Gus Poyet, the former Tottenham and Chelsea midfield player, has been approached to become the assistant manager.

The Dutchman appeared buoyant as he left the tunnel for the dugout before kick-off against Getafe, giving no hint of the drama that was unfolding.

Ramos will be charged with turning around Tottenham’s fortunes - expectations of challenging for a place in the Champions League this season have been crushed by a series of poor results and performances.

Very odd if it is true (which it really is sounding like it is) that he has agreed terms & still lead them out. Normally the manager is out the second they have agreed anything.

Not really sure what to think about it. Really like Jol, great guy & has given us two really good season & then was treated like **** by the board early on when there was NO reason for itand that I think has partially screwed our season. That said we really do need to be doing better :(

gonna miss martin for sure, has got us to 5th twice and pushed us on leaps and bounds, nobody can compete with his interviews for honesty, hopefully he will get the england job.

hmm i have mixed feelings about this

sort of happy but then again im sad to see him go he did well for the most part

Well done, Jol. You can hold your head up high. Two 5th places is a magnificent achievement. Let's hope the next Spurs manager is given the time and space needed to achieve even greater success.
