Has just been remapped by Wayne Schofield, known as the best mapper in the business. Same mods as GT3's VTS but managed 10 BHP more. Its now fully stripped and wow, what a car it is now :D Makes my GTI6 look like I have left the handbrake on :( Has over 200 bhp/tonne now - 141BHP at the WHEELLS

Nice and subtle on the outside, lovely power figure :D

Bet it goes like a rocket!

We need a duel tbh. 106 vs VTS. Be interesting.

Same cars so would not be much different lol Only difference is the engines. The later two pronged type rarely reaches over 150 bhp with cams as the head design is different (like GT3's) where the early ones are better. I love it, the time it takes to hit tripple figures is amazing.

These things can be pretty quick...

I only pulled about 6-7 call lengths in front from like 30-120 the other day when racing one (on a private track). Pretty confident it was modded :)

Hmm, where abouts is he? A mate's dad owns a remappying company near rochdale/oldham, and his surname is Schofield just can't remember his dad's first name!

Tom.

In rochdale lol. He has 6 kids so quite possible, did his brother break his arms at the weekend quad racing? :D

Nice one, always good results to be had from Mr Schofield aka ChipWizards.
What were the mods...exhaust, manifold, cams & induction kit ?

Loved the 106 GTi, my wife had one years back and it was a storming little thing, with power off oversteer fun by the bucket. :D

ah yes, chipwizards is his company name......

and the guy i know does indeed race quads, so possibly him! Ben Schofield?

Impressive stuff, I'm strongly considering going down the "sleeper route".

What 0-60 do you reckon it would achieve?

GT3's saxo is also stripped out, the earlier VTS's were the fastest made.

It must really shift;)
