Man jailed for urinating on a woman who lay dying in a street

People aren't getting the right punishments quite often - a lot of the things you hear about on the news or even on those police camera programs, they say what punishment they get and rarely do you get the feeling that it's enough of a punishment. Well - rarely do I get that feeling, I won't speak for anyone else :p

I don't think this country is all fine and I do think there are (probably) better places to live - but at the same time, this country certainly isn't a bad place to live and the media make their money out of exaggerating everything... so... yeah. I forget what I was trying to say.

You're wrong. I don't say things indirectly. I say exactly what I mean.

No it isn't.No they aren't.Yup...Nothing is being done. This guy hasn't gone to jail and is peeing on someone else right this second.

*n

Ye ok, cos you say so. Fair enough.

I agree with penski to be honest.

It's one thing to be angered by this story, but another to claim Britain's crime is getting out of control or what not.

Scum like this have always been around, and will always be around.

It's similiar to whenever a violent murder is discovered, people jump on the bandwagon. Violent video games are to blame!!!

Yeah, so what video game was Jack the Ripper influenced by then?

Crime in this country is becoming more and more extreme. People are commiting more brutal and foul acts as months go by and nothing is being done. This story is just another prime example, people are making there opinions clear on that and it is nation-wide.

crime isn't becoming 'more extreme' - news reporting of crime has become more frequent, much more detail can be given by the media than ever could have been printed before, and access to news is a lot easier than it has ever been.

Crime is not becoming more extreme eh?

I never, ever thought 10 years ago I would be reading about a little 11 year old lad being shot dead coming home from football practice.

Of course crime is getting more extreme in this country. If anything a lot of awful crime that is happening isnt even making headline news like it used to

All these people that think crime is not increasing and getting more extreme in this country really need to ease up on the drugs. Staggering. /shakes head and sighs

Really? You really wouldn't of expected to read any stories about a young person being murdered in 1997? :\

Little boys and girls have been murdered, sacrificed and god knows what else for centuries. It only appears more common these days due to the media's connection with us. Newspapers, television, radio, RSS feeds, news websites, emails etc. We've never been so connected to the news as we are today.

So you just assumed 15 year olds would shoot 11 year olds for no reason? It appears more these days because it happens more these days. In 1997 if Rhys Jones had been killed it would have been reported just like it had this year.

Home office crime stats for england and wales, number of offences, against time - all crimes.

so, what proof do you have for me that crime is on the increase?
less reported violent crime, burglary...
sexual assult reporting is on the increase.
is that because there are more sex crimes, or because people (women) are now more willing to speak out?
domestic violence is seen as a 'crime' now, where as 50 / 100 years ago, it was accepted that the man would raise his hand to his wife is she stepped out of line.
children who were abused by family, teachers, carers, priests - are now speaking out, where as before it was covered up.

so gun crime is on the increase? well i would hazzard a guess that sword related crime is down on 250 years ago... crime will follow the trends.

100 years ago people stole money from tills, apples from trees, robbed at knife point, hijacked carriages, and now we steal data from the internet, duplicate bank details, car-jack...

shake your head at me? for being informed, realistic, aware of what is going on? ok...

This is being repeated on Radio One right now...

I'm still sickened and appauled by this.

The woman in question suffered from disabilities all her life, and was already dying on her own doorstep coming home from shopping when the attack happened.

She was kicked and then a bucket of water was thrown over her... when she didn't move, he urinated on her and then covered her in shaving foam.

Those people that stood there watching, laughing... even filming the abuse should be tried as well.

I can't believe that a woman who suffered throughout her life, was not allowed to die in peace and to keep her dignity during her last moments.

Someone should Urinate on him

Oh he will get more than that.

The country is not going to pot but unfortunately this is one of the sub-human trash that are allowed to breathe free air that we have in this country. He will almost certainly get whats coming to him and it's a fair bet that he will be the recipient of violence while inside.

I know some bad lads, as do most of us but even some of the hardened criminals will be disgusted and angered at what he has done and he will be a marked man.

As for his sentence I was expecting 18 months so 3 years is not bad. He will not be out after 6 months though. He will serve at least 18 months.

Watch the video link ....... the SIO pulls no punches in his condemnation of Anderson and the people who stood about and did nothing. They are all beneath my contempt.

You know very well that the Home Office (or whatever they are called this week) manipulate the figures. Reported crime may be down but real crime is most certainly rising. You will be telling me that unemployment is falling next. Dear, oh dear believing the government, whatever next.

why does it seem to be a common opinion on here that criminals receive ultimate justice inside prison, from other criminals?
are people trying to suggest that there is a criminal heirachy?
that shop lifters can pee on violent criminals, violent criminals can kick murderers, and everyone can beat on paedophiles?

i don't get this idea, and it seems to crop up frequently. if someone (specificially someone who has expressed this opinion) want to explain it to me, i'd be grateful.

i would rather believe the government (facts and figures, data, numbers, raw statistics) than the daily mail :roll eyes:

So you're dismissing Home Office statistics as lies?

What evidence do you have to suggest crime is on the increase then?
