This is one of the reasons why i choose not to go Uni. The costs.
Far too expensive for what i'd get out of it, imo.
Each to their own i suppose though.![]()
you pay back your tuition fees later. Everyone up here somehow thinks they dont. But you do. maybe not all of it. but proabably about 90% of it.
Since when does spending money mean you have fun?
So how much approximately does it cost to do a 3/4 year course at university these days then.
Im going to do a 4 year course at hertfordshire with a year in industry on salary.
im assuming that rent is £70 x 42 weeks = ~£3000 a year for 3 years
Course is £3000 a year aswell for 3 (or four cause of placement?) years
living costs at £100? a week x 42 = £4200
£30,600 Does that sound right?![]()
And the rest - additional costs i am missing?
How does that compare with others?
Drugs are bad, mmkkkayhmmm, don't even remember posting that!
Living cost £100 a week, rofl. I'm living on about £30 a week atm.
How do you manage that? Do you not go out, have any travel/living expenses?
Wow. No going cinema with friends, going to restaurants etc.? I don't go out on the **** either but £30 can go in two days, if not one!£30 a week on food, that's all I buy. No travel expenses, I walk everywhere. I don't drink so I don't go out 'on the ****' or whatever you want to call it.
Is a there a big difference in uni costs in the US?
I'm not sure on the actual costs, but i think students from over-seas get grants and burseries, but their university system works completely different to ours, didnt really make any sense to me when i was looking on their websites to see how to apply for a masters or phd.
That's just stupid, you can live like the Queen on £250. Even take aways twice a day i wouldn't hit £250, unless you go out and buy a few things that are £50 it's difficult to spent that much.
