As I have said imo its a wise move to shift it on now while one can still get good money for it.
Well if they come out on monday, I'm guessing on Tuesday everywere will be outa stock hell I'm worried I wont get one ordered on monday because they'll fly off the shelves like no tomorrow!

You have to remember that worldwide on launch there is only 50,000 available.
My evga 640mb 8800gts is on the bay not looking good these cards are going for £130 it would seem on there.

yes but it was pallit the crazy thing is another exact same card is already at £192 on there just doesn't make sense that site.

Luckily i got mine for £205 delivered so if i get £150 it's bearable but to be honest i am more interested in a cheap GTX due to the GT release.
That fan noise and temp issues on the standard single slot cooler is not for me.

Seriously I think we should all place bets as to how long it'll take for OcUK's 8800GT stock to deplete
.On monday they'll be about 200 people on OcUK's site constantly banging the F5 button for the release of the 8800GT then all placing there orders at once, I rekon the site will go down for some people too and all hell will break loose.

A little noisier for a lot faster?, sign me up sir!.I am very dubious about the benchmark that has been released so far though. 169's drivers for the GT and 162 or 163 for the GTS????. WTF! Also if they are using much older drivers for the GTS then what did they use for ATI?.
I do think it will be faster but you have to admit that all the different driver combinations is a bit stoopid for to show it's worth?.
Hee hee. If somebody confirms the GT works in a 1.0 slot I don't think it will take 2 seconds for it to be up on the bay

Exactly!!. My fallback PC is a single cored 3700+ @ 2.9Ghz & a 9800Pro. It will let me play a few titles but not many. Call of Duty 1 and 2 online anyone?
.J.D what voltage do you need to get that 3700+ to 2.9? I got mine to 2.8 at 1.45 but needed like 1.5 for 2.9, dont have it anymore though

Next time you upgrade Will, don't sell your RAM and CPU. All of these things just lay about for me so I just popped them into a system for a back up as well as building my mum a full system too except from one HD and a case. If you do need anything then you can just buy in the MM as it's not your main system. A cheap but powerful gfx card and your laughing.
I used to play Call of Duty a lot online and got pretty good at it but with all these new titles popping up as well upgrading to the Pro I've not played it in about 3months so I will have something to work at (my aim). At least the 9800Pro will urinate all over that !!.

.So what do you all think about the different driver combinations?. That seems to me that if all the most current drivers were used that the gaps wouldn't be so large. What do you think?. It makes no sense in the slightest to me.
