Dont forget "Long Way Down" starts tonight at 9:00pm on Beeb 2.

Loved "Long Way Round" and I'm looking forward to this one. :D

Mythbox all set, haven't seen the first one but I'm looking forward to it all the same. Thanks for the heads-up :).

Incidentaly, Ewan McGregor crashed my m8's dad's bike when he was at school in Crieff.

He gets a mention on page 13 of the Long Way Round book, George Carson.

George was school lab technician at Morrisons Academy in Crieff.

Seen Ewan up there in Crieff a few times when he visits back home.

Just thought I would mention it......LOL.

Yeah, it was a bit slow to get going today, but I guess they have to set the scene. Love the Griso ;).

LOL....aye, agreed. :D

That was brilliant, really looking forward to the rest of the series.

I recognised a load of those roads they came down through Scotland on, really good to ride.

Can only echo those feelings already mentioned about Eve. Its got nothing to do with her, it just seems Ewans whole family want part of the action now. I'm happy to see charlie is able to distance his home life from what should be an interesting extention to their first journey.

Looks like there could be some tension already brewing, could be fun to watch all the same.

Really enjoyed Long Way Round and it sounds like this will be much the same fare. I've enjoyed the last few hours of BBC2 :)

i was really looking forward to this, first episode was a good start.
absolutley loved the long way round, dispite not being as enthusiastic about the whole africa thing, i really couldnt wait for this series, i've read the book, it was a great read, you get a bit more detailed account of things from the book, a lot more background info on all the happenings, what they were feeling etc just kinda gives you a fuller picture of the trip.
bring on the next episode, things are rolling now, the journey has begun:D

Good program , well worth watching it tonight, anyone know how many parts to the full series ?.

Lots of people drop the bike on their CBT. It's called learning. She was only on the trip for ten days, it should be interesting to be honest. I can see why Charley got a bit meh about it though.

Good program, can't wait until they get out of the UK and really get. going. Plus, that Asia chick, yum yum! :D

I'll second that. Rrreggle!
