Pro Evo 2008 - PC or Console?

I'm really enjoying it now especially now i've updated it with the proper emblems,names and new kits for man u,aresnal,chelsea and liverpool.

Is this for the PC? if so care to share the links

Takes a bit of time getting used to, hated it at first but now when I go back and play PES6 that looks and feels horrible!
Enjoying it a lot so far, getting some practice in so i dont get totally destroyed online. Hope this runs ok online, i played a lot of PES 06 online on pc and seemed to get a lot of lag. Never had any connection/lag problems with any other game but my opponents often complained about lag whenever i played it, gave it up because of it in end, a lot of people seemed to assume the lag was me attempting to cheat

Bad sound effects bad music in fact quite frankly embarrassing you can't even hear your imported chants properly in this.
Worse weather effects than pes6 doesn't even have snow can hardly even see the rain the pitch doesn't even change during the match to reflect that it's raining < hardly next gen this is 2007 we should have muddy patches forming puddles turf coming up by now.
Fifaesque arcadey feel to the passing and especially shooting it's either a daisy cutter or a 100mph high bullet shot.
The most laughable and i must add this will not be fixed Goalkeeper AI i have ever seen in any football game.
Terrible game it's like the pes team made it up to 70% complete then the fifa team finished it with all of fifa's bad points included.
Feels empty and soulless apart from the cut scenes nothing about this game speaks next gen to me my god it hasn't even got player breath like pes6 had in winter.
Oh i just won the wc final against brazil 10-0 on top player difficulty 70% of every long shot or cut back and instant shot goes in.
Sticking to pes6 for my online football it's leagues ahead.

Is it just me or is this a bti wierd, just had a game with my mackem flatmate, sland dont hav kenwyn jones .. carlos edwards is as white as casper, mcshane has blackhair unless you're in a cutscene??? Crazy.
Also running like poo on my system whereas demo was spot on, why isnt there a default for 1280x1024?? really its hardly a minority resolution is it?
Because it's clearly an uncared for game unlike the 360 version.
There are fixes for resolutions but they are more workarounds than the game actually running at say 1680-1050.
Are you sure, I have 1280x1024 setting after install.
ok turns out on some PCs 1280x1024 is disabled, not the foggiest why, running fine now, looks a lot better and none of the jerkiness i was getting on the other resolutions.

No online 2v2? wth?? Pes6 PC had it, its hardly difficult allowing 2 to play from 1 PC ..

Out of the ten or so online games ive had less than half werent affected by lag, only connecting to players with the lowest pings but some of the games have been very ropey. The only ranked match i tried was unplayable, the opposition scored twice from corners and both times the ball just appeared in the back of the net when the player taking the corner was still halfway through taking the kick

Not that this means i know better but i've been playing pes on the pc since number 3. Wasn't impressed with the demo for 2008 but have installed the full game tonight and what an improvement over the demo! The concerns i had are now banished and i actually believe that this has the potential to be the best one yet.

Agree with C64 about the music it is bloody awful, i dont expect them to shell out on loads of licensed songs but its hard to believe they couldnt have come up with anything better.Have they dropped the challenge training mode? cant seem to find it and i could do with a refresher on some of the games finer points.

thats what i said, its not like there isnt many decent unsigned or unheard of bands around is it? bit of scouting and its fairly easy to find some decent songs that the artists will no doubt not want much money for(as if your music is in a game like Pro Evo and the little thing pops up saying your name its pretty good marketing right?)
The menu is also completely rubbish, it looks so SHODDY.
Think the lag problems are to do with online servers atm.
Great idea, think Bugbear did it with the first flatout game on pc, they used unsigned bands from the Overplay website and the music was way better than the aural assault provided by this game.
