Whos ditching 8800 for new rev?

My plan is sell GTS 640 for anything over £200, buy GT today, wait for new GTS to comes out then sell GT & buy new GTS. Figure this would be the best upgrade route as surely the current crop of GTS are going to lose a lot of value once the average Joe wakes up.

I posted at the main screen were they comapre, not BENCHMARKS.

Now they use 8800GTS 320 here, shows it performing under a 2900XT most of the time because of its memory and low performance coz of its memory, unfair test tbh.

im hating this, i really am. do i sell my gtx now, wait for the refresh, or get a gt? or stay. nvidia have produced somethign special, but unless the new gtx's are just as special, i think they have actually just shot themselfs in the foot.

anyway, come on people what should i do?

Wtf... almost 2x the performance of a 320MB at higher resolutions.

I hate to say it but a big "I TOLD YOU SO" goes out to all the people who never stopped with the: "Lower memory size makes no difference in performance" spiel. The 640MB GTS consistently scored higher than the 320MB, and now this 512MB with it's beefed up specs is simply stunning. I'm buying one today! :D

Sell your GTX and buy an 8800GT, before it's too late. Hopefully you haven#t missed the boat already.

Anyone who has recently bought a GTX or isn't selling it now to save wads of cash is a bit mad imo.

well i think its just going to be a great midrange card.if you got a gtx i would personally sell it and pocket the difference and bag a gt or keep and wait but expect a big drop in price on your resell value of your gtx.do you think nvidia would launch this without having higher cards to replace the gtx and whatever else coming soon come on you know they have .
