Just downloading this now, anyone else got it or planning on getting it?
Looking forward to taking some of my tuned cars out again on these tracks :)

Hiya.

Dont think I will. Forza 2 is one of the two games I own. I've played it for countless hours over the two months Ive had it, so looking for a change. On that note, I wont be buying it. Although I have heard good things about it. :D

Just traded in Forza with a few other things today, theyve well and truly missed the boat for additional content I feel. Needed to be at least a month ago to combat PGR4.

Edit - Eeeeew, my avatar thingy :(

You maybe right, but I still enjoy the Forza weekly competitions, and the customization options, I have a garage full of custom tuned and painted cars.
I think in 3-6 months time Forza will be the one with the more active community, mainly due to the weekly competitions and super competetive leaderboards.
This is just my opinion and yes i do own both games and yes I do think PGR4 is a great game as well.

Ive played the PGR4 demo, but not bothered buying it. I just think that they needed to get some additional tracks out before now, really bored the life out of me towards the end of the game with the lack of variety.

Yo :p

I've been tempted to trade my games in. A few years ago, I remember very little for games I payed £40 for so I just kept them, is it still like that? If so, ive learnt to keep the games I have, and just buy less than I did before, as In the end I remember trading loads in and ending up after a few years with only a handful :p (and wanting to replay the others).

PGR is loads better than Forza. No variety in Forza and same old tracks drag on and on. Never finished that but PGR4 is keeping my attention.

I traded the following in:
  • Forza 2 (360)
  • GRAW (360)
  • Call of Duty 3 (360 Import)
  • DOA 4 (360 Import)
  • PES 6 (360)
  • Forza (Xbox)
  • Halo 2 (Xbox)
  • Monkey Ball (Xbox)
  • BF2 (PC)
  • Sims (PC)
  • Unreal 2004 (PC)
High street game retailer offered £32 trade in! Couldnt believe it, so went round to another retailer which is local to the North East. £42 cash or £52 trade in, so came out with Tiger Woods 08, Darkness and Just Cause.

Youll never really get much back for trade ins, but to me Im quite happy to clear out a load of games Ive finished and wont play again and end up with 3 games I wanted.

Yup :D:p

I made them fully aware of what they were, explained one was NTSC from Canada and one was PAL but came from Japan. Explained the game worked fine on a UK console, everything was in english so they scanned them and just took them. Very suprised myself.

I think ebay would have been a better bet tbh mate

Possibly might have squeezed a five or so more, but by the time you get the money after ebay, paypal fees, the time taken to list the items, post them and all of the hassle involved its certainly not worth it to me.

normally independant game shops will accept imports so long as they work on UK machines. wont get an amazing amount for them, but they will be accepted.
I was always under the impression they couldn't legally sell them as they don#t have the correct ratings on them?

and that resale in a foreign "zone" will undoubtably be against the lisencing terms of the game itself...

also note that Imports have typically sold for more £ in UK shops than the UK Equivalent, despite costing LESS to import and they will only give measly trade in's on Imports. Sounds like its an area where a, they flout the law, b, price gouge.
