You do realise that 20% of the working population has a criminal record? If you presume that only half of those people have a criminal record that had the potential of carrying more than 1 year in prison you'd be wanting to execute 6 million people...

while we are at it, i'd like to instigate a one strike and sent back where you came from policy for asylum seekers and immigrants.

Dont think he deserved to die like that. Yes breaking into someone's home is not exactly saint like but they dont deserve to die in the same way that rapists,murderers and paedos do IMO.

My auntie and uncle got burgled and they took a lot including both wedding rings.....you can imagine how that felt.

How must the burglars family feel? What if he had a young family? What if he was doing it to support them etc etc....

It happend in a very dodgy suburb with lots of council estates and some the richest unemployed people in the state if you know what i mean

He should have been at home with them or getting a proper job to support them. McDonalds, for example, will hire practically anyone.

If you have the werewithall/physical ability to go out robbing, then you can get a job.

Sympathy to his family if he has one, certainly.

Sympathy for him? none whatsoever.

I feel sorry for the old man whos window was smashed, wife scared silly, and had to go through having a man bleed to death in his garden.

What if he hadn't slipped and killed himself, then what? would the old man have been assulted while he tried to defend his home and his wife? probably.

So no- no sympathy at all.

The guy is a jackass, no doubt about that. Anybody who thinks they can break into people's homes and steal their stuff is very very low.

Punishable? Hell yeah.

Punishable by death? No.

It'll be one messed up world where we're putting people to death for crimes like that.

I find the fact so many people that are laughing at this, nothing short of disgusting.

NOBODY deserves a fate (spelling?) such as this. Someone has had their neck slashed open, and bled to death. What on Earth is funny about that? Yes, the burglar deserved to be punished. But no one deserves to have something such as this happen to them.

Why? What should we do? Pay to incarcerate them? Why even bother? These kind of people DO offend again and DO spend their entire lives in and out of jail at the taxpayers expense. Why not just do away with the expense and the hassle, and execute them? Only guaranteed way of preventing them offending.

EDIT: And I wasn't trolling earlier, I do honestly think it is absolutely fantastic that it happened to this guy.
