Who wii is sitting gathering dust?

nope - still to complete Zelda, been kept busy with Mario: Strikers Charged and Super Paper Mario recently :D

saw the game advertised on the tele the other night, apart from the new controls don't see anything different than the others

Well it is a sequal so why would there be anything different? Just like Ep1/2 are nothing new to HL2 other than the setting.
At least with MP3 there is a totally new control system.

Still, i want Retro to make a brand new FPS IP that is a bit less adventure orientated. A proper modern/sci-fi FPS on the Wii with Retro's amazing art style would be fantastic. The shed load of adventure elements in MP3 puts me off a bit.

As for the OP, i only got mine in the summer so it's still played a fair bit. I am waiting on Super Mario Galaxy, Zack & Wiki, Nights and BWii though for some serious play time.

Mine gets brought out for multiplayer action but I'd rather play single player games on my Xbox 360. I find a control pad more comfortable for long gaming sessions and there's simply a better catalogue of games on the 360.

At the moment mine is despite having Super Paper Mario to finish. 360 had a wave of games hit at the same time and I just got stuck into those instead. Still love my Wii though.

I've still not got round to playing Zelda and I've had it since Wii launch day last year.

With the 360 & the Wii in the living room, I do play the 360 more.
The wii will tend to get played at family/friend gatherings.

If I had the time I'd be playing it.

As it is I've just left it round my mate's house, who's working his way through all my games.

Hardly a bad thing. Metroid Prime is easily one of the better games i've played.

My Wii gets played quite regularly - pretty much every time friends come round - and Mario Galaxy is out so soon :)

Bought one on the last week, have only used it the night I got it.

Waiting for Mario Galaxy :)

Out of curiosity - are there just no games that appeal to some of you guys, or you don't know any people interested in playing?

I still play Wii Sports and Wii Play regularly - the competition between me and a few friends has become quite fierce now - and have enjoyed various single player games.

The Table Tennis game in Wii Play has become quite awesome now we've all learnt to play it well.

In my case its down to the fact that there is always something more appealing on the 360 to play.

My Wii can sit on the side unused for a week or so at a time, then get a lot of usage as the whim takes me.

It's much the same as my PC, I can go for ages without playing a single PC game, then spend far too much time over the space of few weeks playing a new game:)

I reckon total in a year I've played about 8 hours total on ours. My wife loves it but even she probably only plays it once for half hour every fortnight on average.

I've rented loads and nothing she plays makes her want to buy the game. She just sticks with Wii sports and bit of brain academy.

So far they are the only two to interest me as well.

Bought mine in jan for £180

Only used it a few times

sold it for £200.00 with 1 games and classic controller last week now got a ps3
