Anyone still waiting for Royal Mail packages ??

Sent a first class parcel out on the 15th (after the most recent strike, as far as I'm aware), it arrived at its destination two weeks later. I could have walked there and back faster!

I had something 'dispatched' on the 18th October and still awaiting it's delivery. I don't expect it anytime soon either.

i have been waiting an age for my warm motorbike gloves.... my hands are getting seriously cold on my commute now!!!

:mad::mad:

sold a book on ebay, sent it 1st class recorded on the 12th oct. Buyer wants me now to do a trace/claim, can I starting claiming for loss of post now? I got the form, and it says you need to send proof of posting, i take it that the recorded delivery slip will be sufficent? Anyone had any experience on claiming, how long will it take to get compensation? Cheers

im in the same boat as you... sold something on ebay, posted on 10th... not arrived and was a 1st class parcel.

i think its anything up to 30 days to get it refunded after you start the claim... but ive never done it so ill be doing the same as you lol.

It is like that here every day. Our post almost never comes until late afternoon.

So called modernisation, keeping us longer in the office to work to our times, ironic that the fact you lot were moaning we were getting off early well we are working to out official time and you lot moan your post is late :rolleyes: typical..

I just want you to do your job properly

All seems to work fine for me! A friend sent me a mobile phone on Monday, and I had an attempted delivery card on my doormat this evening.

Good stuff :)
