30 Days of Night

The trailer does look great but I just hope that the best parts of the film are not just in that trailer which often is the case.

Just got back from watching it. Very good film which was perfectly paced throughout and very intense with 1 or 2 very disturbing scenes. Also, it was superbly shot.

Reminded me of the Thing (remake) in some ways.

Best Vampire movie I've ever seen without a doubt. Definitely recommended.

Just got back from seeing it too. Have to say, I'm a big fan of the genre, and I've been disappointed time and time again over the last year by shaky cam footage, constant strobe cuts and bad sound tracks with fast rhythm editing, horrible special effects, bad scripts etc. But this was really refreshing. Genuinely scary in parts, actually claustrophobic and tense, and the annoying American actors were put on a leash, having only 3-4 lines of "But Brad, I love you so mu..(bLEAGhh - Head explodes)". Best £7 I've spent on a horror flick in ages (win!).

just seen this too. Not as scary as i thought it would be, but lots of tense moments, plenty of slashing and maiming going off, few jumpy bits and a rather different ending i wasnt expecting??

definatly worth a watch :)

I went to see this on Thursday night, didn't think it was that bad to be honest. What did make me laugh was that the leader of the vampires looked like a cross between Tim Westwood and Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys :P

Plenty of gore but the best bit for me had to be at the end as the sun came up :)

Saw this film last night also. Ive been waiting for it for a long time now so you can imagine how excited i was queing to get into the cinema. I went with 2 of my mates, who didnt cease to moan about the ammount of gore all the way through. Me on the other hand sat there taking it all in, i loved the film. It was well captured and the graphics made everything look that little bit more beleivable. Overal an excellant film, ill probably watch it again soon.

9/10 atleast, and probably the best vampire film since queen of the damned.

oh ok lol, must be another film.

Might go and see it, it does look very good, not exactly mega budget sort of film either ( 30 million, considering RE extintion was about £45 million) are the effects any good?

The effects that there are in the film are very good. Hardly any CGI.
