The delay has been caused because the game apparently needs a bit more tweaking and balancing to get the quality Konami demands.

I'm not either, I've never played any of the MGS games.

Although I would like to check this one out simply due to the hype surrounding it, I can't say I'm surprised at the delay though. Bit poo for Sony fans who've been waiting for this game.

never played mgs? i think the third (being snake eater) is the best out of the three of the series for playstation. a must buy i think.

although its a bit of a bummer to hear this one is delayed now..

oh well gives me time to save up for my ps3.

Well we were hear last year discussing the release of the PS3 and some on these forums even rushed to import. Looks like it really will be this time next year before the PS3 is offering up its top franchises including Metal Gear and GT5.

Very few PS3 owners im sure have been wooed by the games this year, Blu Ray was the bigger incentive, which actually has had a pretty darn good year with releases and quality.
One things for sure though these delays wont help sales particulary if somones been sitting on the fence and hasnt yet got a X360 the games linup this year for X360 is the best ive ever seen for ANY console. Sonys mangement and internal studios really needs a SHAKE UP!

Little Big Planet looks like the most original and interesting thing happening on the PS3. Most of the rest is Hi Def rehashes.

Absolutely no problems waiting for this one, I'd hate them to release something that was full of bugs, and theres plenty due out between now and Q2 next year for me to spend my pennies on.

My friends hates tactical esponage games..... Mind you so do I unless its MGS, can't wait for this game
