Serenity looks incredible in HD.

Although, I don't recommend you watch it before Firefly. Firefly is the TV show that was made before the film. Serenity carries on from Firefly. Trust me, if you like Firefly, you will enjoy Serenity so much more if you watch it afterwards, rather than first.

Firefly isn't in HD, but it is definitely worth the purchase anyway. It's a brilliant series, and makes Serenity THAT much better.

Wise man. I saw Serenity first when it came out in the cinema. Thought it was a pos. I bought the HD-DVD of it and thought it wasn't so bad but I really needed the backstory.

So I bought the Firefly Season 1 boxset, and wow. One of the best sci-fi shows I've ever come across. It's a shame it was cancelled.

It's my favourite TV show. Better than Heroes, 24, Prison Break, Lost, Dexter, The Sopranos etc.

I regret watching Serenity before Firefly so much.
