Pro Evo 2008 - PC or Console?

the lack of 2v2 put me off buying the whole game this year :mad:

it was the absolute best thing about pro evo 6 when you have a good partner ! fantastic arsenal style passing :D

Doesnt make sense tm either as the game at high settings appears to be more CPU intensive than VGA hungry but they dont take into account the CPU.

I agree. 2v2 is such a great laugh. Playing 1v1 is ok but it gets boring after a while. Arent computer games more about getting a group of people together to play and interact?

If I just wanted 1v1 then I would get a console.

if you install the patch which you have to to play on line the kitserver 7d doesnt work anymore so be warned,it lets you change the res and set it to high settings but as soon as you go to play it goes back to your system isnt good enough to run it *****,well its coming of my comp and will go back to fifa at least you can get a game through them
 
The game is dead if no groups and 2v2 as 1v1 is full of magic deco cheats always has been a magic deco is when you can disconnect when losing back to the lobby without the game counting it is easily done it's just a case of holding down 2 keys.
Thats why it needs 2v2.
 
I keep hearing bad things about this game but still want to get it :(

Is it worth paying the extra £7 to get it from the supermarket or shall I wait a few days and save the money and get it online?
 
I'm clearly being simple , how the **** do you play this online - ie how do you get your password? Do I have to register the game on the Konami website?
 
Btw the kitserver does fix the 16:10 resolution issue run lodcfg.exe tick aspect rato correction

in the kitserver folder open config.txt

[kload]
dll = kserv.dll
dll = lodmixer.dll

[lodmixer]
screen.width = 1680
screen.height = 1050
screen.aspect-ratio = 1.6

should look like this if it has # before anything delete # 1.6 stands for 16:10 so place which res you want as above and save on exit

Now all we need is better keeper AI
Better refs that don't blow every 10 seconds
Better running animations
Separate chants so they don't sing at same time
No ball going out of play if you so much as dare to tackle within 20 yards of any sideline
And so so much more i can't be bothered to type right now

Does anyone think it will be possible for someone to mod this to give multiple players on each side?

I stick can not believe that they left this out. I Dont think I would have bothered buying it if I knew that. The single player is fun for a while but like the other guy said, the 1v1 are all cheat riddled little children.
