Think-tank says 'downgrade Christmas'

i dont mind the sentiment of Christmas - but i dont particularly think that a religious event should dominate in a secular state?

i also disagree that other religious events should have equal footing...~
 
Thnink tanks have to be the worst waste of money ever. especially in situations like this.

It's not just a Christian festival. It's now a festival that you spend with family and make companies millions of pounds. It's tradition and should stay.
 
it is nice to have a winter holiday where families get together and people are encouraged to enjoy themselves - just not sure why it has to be a religious do,.

id like a thanksgiving type holiday but without the religious garbage aspect.
 
Everytime I hear 'think-tank' I think of a collective bunch of do-gooder graduates that would sell their family down the river for a chance at a promotion.

Looks like I'm right in this instance.
 
eugh, they're just so afraid of offending other cultures. Stupid imo. Its our country, our holiday, they do what they want, we do what we want, simple.

Agreed, am I right in thinking that think-tank was created by Labour?

Get rid of Labour then we'll get rid of think-tank! Because all this craps have never happened when the Conservatives were in power.

yes lets ban religion, because the majority of atheists don't display the same attitude and believe system as religious people.:rolleyes:
