I for one am delighted as in a country that has no real government and is so lawless, I was expecting Jama not to be found so full credit to the authorities for locating him.
There are rumours floating about suggesting how Jama fled the UK, the most common one being that he stole his sister's passport and wore a Burka. If true then I hope the ports authorities hang their heads in shame.
In 2005, while the trial was ongoing at Newcastle Crown Court I passed the armed convoy transporting the other suspects numerous times on the A1 while travelling to work and the anger that manifested within me was quite suprising. Muzzaker Shah and Yusuf Jama should have swung from a rope for Pc Beshenivsky's murder. I am sickenened about how casually two unarmed cops were gunned down. They are simply sub-human trash and even a minimum 35 year tariff does not appease me in the slightest.
As for Mustaf Jama, he is innocent in the eyes of the law and I have to bite my lip until the outcome of legal proceedings but he still gets my utter contempt. We will see what happens.
