We're off to NYC flying out of Manchester with Delta later this month - was £250 each return but we had seen the same flights for around £220/230 just before we booked (doh!).

I'm going to pick up a new Leatherman out there. A Charge TTi is ~£120 in the UK but the same price in USD so half price It's tempting to bring two back and flog one.

You missed local sales tax though approx 8% in NYC but still a good saving.

Apparently the Open Skies agreement (for the cheaper flights) wont come in until next spring. Unfortunately JFK seem to be trying to cut down on incoming flights from europe to ease congestion atm.
