Has anyone hit high fps on Crysis very high settings yet?

Also, remember SLi doesn't work in Crysis yet, so those people with uber SLi setups arn't going to be getting any better numbers than us folks with single cards.

Crysis has supported SLI for awhile - with an average +80% framerate boost - its just most people are too thick to work out how to get SLI working/working properly - hence most of the negative comments about it - mostly due to user incompetence rather than any lacking ability of SLI.

Why dont you then elaborate and explain how us incompetent are gonig wrong. :D

Heh bit of a rant coz I just got done with some guy in IRC who claimed that SLI never gave more than 20% boost - maybe 30% at best and that he'd tried ever SLI solution going...

nHancer is a good start so you can tweak the profiles manually and ensure that whatever exe name is being used is added to the profile - especially with beta and demos they don't often have the same .exe filename as the retail product - which is the one in the SLI profile.

I agree here Rroff!

My GX2 worked wonders and offered a 60%-80% increase in performance for every game i threw at it.

As you say nhancer and programs like it allow you to tweak and select the SLi mode most suited to the game!

I'm giving crossfire a try at the moment but was oh so close to getting a 680i and another 8800GTX! ;)

applied the hacks for very high and another one for hdr and summat, get 29 fps 1280x1024 16/16

went to nvidia cp and disabled sli and got 19, so sli does appear to be implementing itself but hope there are some serious optimisations around the corner [cpu currently running @ 3.6 gig as well]

i get EXCELLENT fps with the dx10 hacks on xp with:

2 x 8800GT's @ stock
Q6600 @ stock
2gb @ 850mhz
1680x1050x32

i never check it on the fps counter, but i know it has to be over 35 fps 80% of the time.

ill get some exact figures if you guys want?

You might be surprised when you check the FPS. It often 'feels' like 35+ fps when it's actually in the mid 20s.

yeah probably right, but still, its very playable all the time. and dont worry im not like the people who say its silky smooth when its at 15fps. ill get exact numbers monday

XP is way better for performance in crysis than in Vista, in XP all high is butter smooth for the most part, same settings in Vista is a lag fest, with the DX10 stuff enabled in XP i lose about 10fps but make it up by dropping shadows and post processing down to medium, still looks great.

About 35fps sounds right - at 1440x900 with one card that is roughly the same speed as 1x 8800GT I get around 25fps average and doing long benchmarks using rivatuners stat server shows that SLI is giving an overall gain at my resolution of +79% - so assuming that 2x8800GT in SLI at 1680x also give around the same gains, and taking the higher res into account it should be atleast 35fps possibly closer to 40.

i've checked my fps and i was reading a range of 12 to 33 on very high using my 8800gtx and new nvidia drivers for crysis.

12 being generally when outlook pops up and confuses my pc lol
