I like almost all upcoming cells of Nokia. Because only nokia gives better battery than other.
Let me know some of the other brands of your choice.

Nokias batterys are ****.

Sony Ericssons batterys > Nokias.

totally agree, got a 5+ year old sony ericsson (well ericsson) that still works while an old nokia died after a year and a half.

I'm probably going samsung (ultrasmart f700) next

I really like the design of the "older" Siemens phones - S55, SL55 etc.

I like the layout, menus, and usability of the Nokias.

I generally don't like SE phones much, every time I use one i'm just not that impressed.

Lobster 700 tv phone (also known as HTC Monet ;) ).

Only phone with a DAB radio built in and runs WM5, absolutely cracking, under-rated phone with decent battery life and feature-rich. Cost me £80 with £70 worth of credit included:D.

I am ,looking forward to seeing the new 3 Skypephone for £49 on pay as u go. As I use skype a lot this could work out very cheap, mmmm need to see one in the flesh this week in the 3 stores.

nothing comes close to the sony ericsson range, their phones are great. the T610 was possibly one of the best phones i have ever owned. lovely to use! now i have the w580i and its battery life is very good

You are joking! The T610 was so slowww, horrible phone. At least the T630 fixed those issues. My best ever phone was the Nokia 8210, it was the perfect mobile in my eyes (before they added functions to mobiles!). I think the N95 8Gb will be my next best phone, its certainly the best smartphone ever (in my opinion of course). SE used to be the best (for the past few years) but I think Nokia have and are pulling it back now - ie they sorted out S60 and their designs.

Sony Ericsson without a doubt, Nokia have fallen way behind. SE phones work faster, better, longer and are a lot better built. Cant see me ever not using SE now unless they seriously screw up.

Sony Ericssons batterys > Nokias.

Neither win, they use exactly the same battery technology. You can't get much more or less out of li-polomers. Per KG they output the have the same energy storage. So both the first two comments are just plain useless.

Some SE batteries maybe physically bigger than some Nokia batteries and Vice-Versa which gives the indication of a longer lasting battery, but thats it...

For me i choose a mobile at the moment beased upon its operating system. SE use to have nice phones, but they've barely done anything to the old A100 OS since the t630/k700i, apart from tarted it up a bit. They just stick a bigger camera on every release, and the phones aren't really getting any smaller! I use to love the size of my k700i, joystick was tosh though.

Now i was a phone that can actually do other things, multitast and be a general smartphone allrounder and actually be DECENT at phoning too (sometimes hard for smartphones). SymbianOS solves all this, the nokia S60 phones are in my eyes very well designed and VERY powerful. The UIQ touch and non-touch screen phones are also very nice and harness the same power. For the forseeable future i will only be buying phones that run SymbianOS, my next phone being between the Nokia E51 and Nokia N82.

Nokia 8210 all the way. Why they don't chuck on a colour screen, some more memory and re-release it I'll never know. All the Nokia's of today are too big IMHO.

I'm actually using it's slightly larger/newer sibling the 8310 as my phone at present, since i lost my E60. If they just updated the OS and a little bit of a spruce it would be great. Just small things like only being able to send one text at a time, and no save to outbox function and a few niggles need be fixed. It would sell well i think...

Nokia 6310i - the battery lasted for days on end, and always gave me a good signal, shame it was the length of a small scottish island, but it still managed to fit into my pocket.

Isn't that just the Nokia 6100 - small with a colour screen, another top phone in my opinion.

8310 was the last good Nokia if you ask me.

My K750i used to hold its charge for ages despite heavy use from both the phone and the camera. After using a rubbish LG clamshell type phone before it, I was well impressed.

The Vario II I have now also has a very good battery life which I was surprised at, given the amount of juice the thing must use up whilst browsing the web etc.
