Xbox 360 elite hdmi question

Does anyone know if you can have the hdmi cable and a vga lead connected at the same time and switch between them (hdmi connected to a tv & vga connected to a monitor) ?

I am 99% certain that only single head output is supported (i.e. only one video output at a time).

I'd only want one output at time, just wanted to avoid unplug - plug scenario.

I see what you mean, It may be possible in that case. You would probably have to physically unpower the other device though. (i.e. turn off the TV that is connected via HDMI before switching to other TV/Monitor that is connected via VGA).
