Can't register solo with ebay paypal?

I've got an account with HSBC and i've got a solo debit card.

It's got an 18 digit number along the middle of the card with the sort and acc. number embedded in the middle.

However I cannot register the card with ebay nor paypal , the card is defintely working as I tried it at a local atm earlier today.

It keeps telling me bank declined or you have entered a partial or incorrect number-anyone else had problems like this?

Phone your bank and ask them why they declinded it?

You have to be atleast 18 years old to register with ebay, so there may be some check being carried out.

yep correct. you arent old enough

Are you sure it's not your age thats affecting your registration?

I've got my Solo Natwest card set up with Ebays Papal and i've never had any problems with it - though I am well over 18
