xp rates also go through the roof in a group (provided you arnet like me and constantly have a xp rate reduction debuff courtesy of getting slaughtered)

the increased difficulty also makes it more fun and rewarding, and better loot
 
I think group size is 8 max currently, thats what diablo2 was anyway. The dev notes indicate a lot of endgame content for groups coming in to the game in due course, should keep a lot of us playing :D last night my friend and i entered waterloo, oh lord did we die over and over again. We got unlucky with a creature type (those wierd things with an aura) and had about 8 of them near the entrance all overlapping their auras, we'd die pretty instantly when they were in range.

Going to sub tonight i think and check out elite mode when i complete it on normal (only lvl 19 so far though).

yeah in the times we went through it afterwards it was fine without those specific creatures, its just the aura's that were ticking about 80 poison damage every second or so, multiply by 8 and you have 2 very dead hunters :(
 
does anyone put anything on stamina and is it useful ? or you dont need health im lvl 9 now and servers down for some strange update :eek:
 
I actually found myself not spending any ability points until I came around to not having enough to equip an item I wanted to use. It seemed to work fine although I'm not sure if that would gimp your char later on when you want to equip the really impressive stuff.

Na it won't. Just add more points on the stats you missed out for the next few level to balance itself out.
 
Weird tried logging in and it says incorrect username and password but I logged in fine when I access other part of the site besides the forum.
 
I think all themed stuff is for subscribers only, the only reason everyone got the halloween stuff was because subscription creation wasn't working so they turned the event on for everyone.
