Midweek European Football 6-7th November *Spoilers*

Good half for us. Passing it on the floor, getting it to the wings and getting crosses in early on although we played through the centre more as the half went on. Arbeloa and Aurelio have been fantastic and Mascherano has looked awesome. Riise not so much. Actually looking forward to the second half for a change :)

Yep, Crouchie has done well too, holding up the ball and bringing in others though missed a couple of decent chances. Arbeloa's been really effective down the right and looks like a natural successor to Finnan.

I really hope we get to see a few games with Crouch and Torres up top before Crouch leaves. I think Torres would really benefit from the knock downs and flick on as he's got the pace to get on the end of them.

This is what gets me about Liverpool, when Crouch plays they look excellent.

Why does he always end up on the bench? He's a class act imo.

My only worry about those 2 playing together is that Torres thrives on space in behind where as Crouch likes defenders backing off and getting balls played into the box which is why i don't think they've played much together.

He caused a couple of problems coming off the bench in the last few games but in the games he started earlier in the season he was terribly poor (Pompey and Marseille games stick out). Rafa hinted at it before the Arsenal game that it may be a case of him or Torres and there's only one winner.

Indeed. Not looking good is it?

Good chance for Drogba though, felt he could have set Essien up for an easy finish but don't blame him for having a go. Just a shame he put it straight at the keeper.

Rosenborg are beating Valencia too so we can qualify with a win tonight if it stays that way, hopefully Grant or Ten Cate will kick a few arses at half time:)

actually, they're not singing anymore. Literally. : p We're singing to keep warm its baltic out here! Can see harry warning up hopefully he will come on for a run soon. Think babel is next though.
