Just thought i'd give you a heads up, this months issue of PCZONE has a full exclusive review of Crysis in it, got 92%. May be worth picking up if you can't wait for the online reviews to trickle through! :)
 
Yeah I get PCZONE every month, you can't get the writing-style anywhere else imo and i've had it since issue 17.
 
I just been on PC Zone's website and didnt see anything about crysis. I also spoke to a friend who said this month is Gear's of war and CoD4 ?

Considering the front cover has "Eclusive Crysis Review" on it, and I have a physical copy in my room that I read last night (or was it all a dream, woooo), your friend is either blind or stupid. Possibly both. :p:D

Unless he hasn't got the brand-new edition and instead has last months? That sounds more likely...

PC Gamer are a joke... most unreliable reviews i've ever read. I remember several times i've read their reviews and it's blatantly clear that they suck major bummage in order to try and be first, or even write a review based on pre-Gold status in order to be a month or two early. PCZONE is an honest and critical mag, and i'd trust a 92% rating more than a 98% rating.

i did use to buy pcgamer but just stoped when broadband came out and i could download the demos raither then having a disk

Agreed, I don't buy the mag much any more, but I always knew that if a game got over 90% in PC Zone, hen you knew it was gonna be something special. They didn't hand out scores like that easily.

I think Zone have done that too though...going back a bit, but Unreal2 got a way higher score than it should have.

Anyway I would never go and buy a game based on one opinion.

PCGamer was the magazine that gave Doom 3 a highly inflated score as well.
