Oh well, by not paying you miss out on Achievements and Private Chat and something else very minor.
Not a big deal, nothing to throw toys out of the pram for anyway.
I think the problem is that its basically the same u get on any other games, but they want more $$ for it

You don't get the same as other online games, you get a Live account which can be used on the 360 if you sign up.
It's still silly, I can understand achievements and the chat but if the ranking is exclusive to paying users then that is pretty crap.
Doesn't matter though, I'll be using my 360 account.

At least we have Steam Platform, i will buy the game but wont be playing it over the net. I can see some sort of 3rd party server hosting full settings.
Can we play against Xbox players so we PC gamers can kick the Xbox 360 gamers ass's with our Keyboard and mouse?
That's only available if you pay the monthly 'GfW Live' fee!
[EDIT] The latest Xfi drivers seem to have all but stopped the stuttering ingame now.
Ok for starters just to clear this up for everyone, you have access to every game type on a silver account which is free, the only difference i can tell is that ranked matches can only be played by Gold Account members.
I guess so, but that would be like saying HL2 is just like doom in the sense that you point at the enemy and click your mouse button.
The weapons, while not exactly imaginative are awesome, i especially like how the grenades work, and the shotgun is gibtastic.
