**CALL OF DUTY 4 MODERN WARFARE**

Sorry don't rate the multiplayer on this got bored after about 8 rounds just now.
Is like a poor mans cs source gameplay wise anyway.
 
When the multi was on the 360 it was pretty crap as well, initally there was some weird bug where the chainsaw attack would suck you towards it and you could do nothing about it, i think they toned it down some but the slow movement speeds etc put me off multi.
 
i think youll find any cod series multiplayer better than css. and a poor mans css? what do you mean by that?

chainsaw attack? whose got a chainsaw?
 
I just played the demo of this game and it ROCKS !

I have been looking foward to Crysis all year, thinking that it would be at least PLAYABLE on my system, which is definitely should be (Core 2 duo 2.0ghz, 2GB RAM, 7900GS). I never expected it to play at medium-high levels, but it isn't even playable when all settings are at LOW... The FPS drops as low as 13 at low settings... that is pretty ridiculous. Farcry looks and plays much better than Crysis on my system, surely that can't be right???

Anyway, I have decided to forget Crysis (I don't have a choice unless I spend about £1k on a new system, which I am not doing just for one game).

CoD4 looks MUCH better and is overall far smoother graphics. The gameplay is also far more intense. I wasn't even planning to buy this game but this demo has really impressed me.
 
This game runs and is amazing! Only on a 6800GS, AMD64 3200+, and 2gb of ram but with everything on normal it runs perfect! I want to play but I must go to bed :(
 
Im in it for the multiplayer tbh

CoD2 is awesome multiplayer IMO, Rifle only F T W ...

Will be MUCH more varied i think, with the range of weapons etc.

Modern weapons = larger maps? hopefully hurtgen sort of size..

Toujane etc p***es me off with how small it is, nades are silly spamfests at spawn :/
 
Although the demo reminded me too much of a re-skinned CoD2; I buckled and bought it anyway since I love the CoD series. Looking forward to both MP and SP.
 
Single player game is quite simply the best FPS i have played since Half Life 1 This is a Class A product.

Eastenders gangster doing the SaS seargent voiceover is inspired very nice work there Bill Murray

I tried the Multiplayer first and was a bit underwhelmed but will reserve judgement i suppose until i play all the modes and maps

overall impression i got was the rounds are over so very fast would be nice to have a continuous objective like a battlefield game

Well I've played about half an hour of the game so far, after spending almost an hour getting it to change resolution - had to edit the config file manually, and I can't say I'm as impressed as I'd liked to have been. The demo sucked, which didn't help my expectations. Can't say the story is very good, or very well explained and the gameplay is generic CoD style, run to next area and shoot.. run.. shoot.. run.. shoot, etc. While this does work, it's getting a little boring now.

The graphics are very good and it runs ok, thought the areas with grass lag it to high heaven. The people who were saying CoD4 would look better than Crysis were very much mistaken. While they are good, they can't compete. I think GoW/UT3/etc looks better as well. The sound is also of a reasonable quality, though nothing new in any way.

I've not tried MP yet.
