The all new- what will you be driving in 5 years time thread

A Ferrari F430, or an Aston Martin. Hey, this is OcUK..

In reality, probably an E92 of some description or an E39 M5.

We should dig up the last thread. It will be funny to see the people who claimed they'd definately have an RS4 or something now driving a Focus diesel..

My insurance might've gone down by then :p

My god I'll be 24 by that time

:(

On a happier note, I'm hoping for a Mustang Fastback that've I've restored myself over that time period :)

Wouldn't it have been pruned? Can't remember exactly how long ago it was tbh :o

Be interesting though :)

A De Tomaso Pantera - or something equally low slung and stylish. Few modern underpinnings as well to make it more flexible for daily use, plus a bit of carbon fibre.

Like so, would do nicely. Something Italian styled, at least...

Again, alternatives to this would be Ferrari 308GTBs, Alfa Montreals, yada yada.....Although I'd prefer to live with the 308.

Maybe similar "modernised" classics as well.

Wouldn't say no to a 914/6 either.

New 3 series coupe diesel for everyday use and hopefully still the saxo as my toy but who knows I change my mind like the wind :D

I'll either be in an e39 M5 or a 911. I could easily be in either of which now if anywhere would give me non mortgage like insurance quotes. They're expensive enough to run as it is :(

It'll be hard to find a decent M5 at that stage I reckon, so it'll more than likely be a 911 unless kiddies come along.

I have no idea. In 5 years I will most likely be married and settled down with the woman.

Plus it depends on what sort of mortgage I have, outgoings etc. Im only 25 after all.

I wouldnt even want to hazard a guess at this stage. I know what I would like to have....a sporty Audi/BMW/Merc, but Im trying to be realistic!

No idea to be honest, depends what else is happening in my life at the time. If we're still dual income, no kids, then an RS4 is most tempting (although a new house would come before that). If we've got a family and stuff by then, it's far more likely to be something more sensible.

Word.

Probably similar/ no better than what I have now.

Hopefully I will have a house attached to the garage it is parked in though

Don't really know, I'll be holding onto my current ride and hopefully adding a KTM Super Duke R (or equivalent) or possibly a litre sports bike.

As for the car I don't care what it is I doubt I'll use it often.
