How much meat do you eat?

Well I'm vaguely aware that eating excessive red meat has a heart risk and that's been known for ages. But it was mainly in response to his post i cut some to save space, I don't really know or care oif meat is bad for me but it almost certainly will be one with that raises my risk of cancer as everything else does :/

I gathered that :) Excess in anything is bad - even fruit and veg. Typical excess is way beyond what any of us would eat typically anyway. A regular dose of red meat is never going to be bad for you. Bearing in mind the thread talked about meat, so that's pork, chicken and fish which aren't classified as red meats anyway! :)

<3 pun.

I thangyou :D

TBH you shouldn't really ask me how much meat I eat you should really be asking how many vegtables I eat seen as I'll only eat Peas, Carrots, Sweetcorn, Cooked Spinach & Cucumber anything other than what I've stated will come straight back up my gullet

If i had to be a vegan for the rest of my life i wouldn't want to live 15 years longer tbh.

I use to think like that ,but slowly moved to this diet over many years ,the food on my plate is as tasty as the next persons !
A lot of people try a vegetarian diet for a couple of weeks then give up because they try to eat the same meals less the meat ..how boring but you learn about new foods !
I started with giving up lamb ,then 6 months later all red meat a couple of years later poultry ,then fish .More recently some 5 years later almost vegan .
You can take it as far as you like .

there is loads of similar articles on the net but most meat eaters refuse to believe it as they can't be asked to make the change :D
and all totally worthless, for the reasons I keep stating, they don't controll there diet and on average meat eaters compared to vegaterians are going to have an unblanaced diet.

IMO if you took 2 groups, controlled there diets precisley the meat eaters would live longer.
