Yeah I'm sure those add up to what, 5 hour install times, people have been whinging about? I think I'll still explain it with idiocy and some melodramatic need to overexaggerate things.
My optical drive is sub par at best, 16x DVD-RW drive over IDE. Everything else would make little difference, and if there were a problem with the disc itself then the game would have errors during install or not install at all.
As for the game itself: So much better than the 360 version that I couldn't really believe it myself. The graphics look so much more crisp and sharp (probaly to do with higher res more than anything) and the mouse/keyboard controls are such a breath of fresh air.
Runs beautifully maxed out too.
