I'm new to water cooling and find it a bit confusing. I would like to water cool my Q6600 and reduce the overall noise levels of my computer.

Can somebody give me some suggestions as to what parts I should buy?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Thanks!

This guide here has all you need to know http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=54331

You should really be reading better to know what your doing rather than just jumping into it. If you want a parts list to have a look at with what you should use here's one:

Cpu block - D-Tek Fuzion
Thermochill or XSPC double rad (120.2)
A Laing DDC Pro with a custom top of your choice ( If you think you might want to add more later to the loop such as graphics block, chipset blocks or even mosfets might want to look at the ultra version of the pump)

Thats your core components just need to add T Line or a res for filling the loop and thats all.

Thanks for your advice. None of your recomendations are sold on either OC UK or **** however. Can you gve me some recomended parts that are sold by either of these retailers?

Thanks again.

that should just tell you that Doh! and ocuk aren't watercooling shops, they're good for hardware but they're not the be all and end all of pc building by a long shot.

You'd struggle to get a decent wc setup from what ocuk sell and you're not allowed to admit competitors exist on this forum so I'd edit your post mentioning one (silly but them's the rules).
