Over land and sea.
I need a socket 775 motherboard with onboard graphics and DDRII but the fun part is that it must have Win98 support in the form of drivers etc.
It's a nightmare sourcing one as you can imagine and I'm running out of ideas as to which models would still be available, the Abit IP-95 is the sort of thing I need but can't get one anywhere.
So can anyone think of any models that might still be around?
Cheers:)

Asrock 775I65G

Probably only one that supports win 98, but its DDR1. Supports core2 and Quad and has onboard graphics. I may be wrong but dont think you will find a DDR2 board that supports win98 although you might get it to work after a fashion. I have win98 running on an Asrock Conroe865PE with an E4300, its basically the same board as the 775I65G but without the onboard graphics.

Thanks lads, I'll try the Abit one from OcUK, the customer will just have to fork out a bit more for some new memory:)

Presumably there's an application that won't run on anything later?

Does W98 need to be run native on the PC? Would it work under VMWare on an XP PC?

My 'customer' (a relative actually) owns a Glazing company and their MIS program (Estimation through to Invoicing) is DOS based and is pretty good in all reality, there is a 'Windows' version available but it's crap and flaky.
They need a new client on their network and I'm trying to do it as cheap as possible using stuff knocking about.
I've mentioned using VMWare before but that's way over their heads:)
