Here's a challenge... Spec me a super cheap PC for my sister for better than £330 inluding monitor keyboard and mouse. Im trying to convince her to not go Dell Doesnt have to be fantastic at all as its not going to be used for anything but word processing/netbrowsing/emailing.

Nice system for the money :), for what she needs to be able to do she doesnt really need a dual core, save even more money by getting a single core processor :cool:

PSU and case?

This offers everything bar the OS as C64 mentions, sometimes it is better to simply buy from a big systems integrator, the margins are so tight that they offer a good price. :)

In the case of buying a budget PC for around £300 I would just go for the Dell. You will struggle to even come close building it yourself. The monitor with the Dell should be much better also.
 
Plus if anything goes wrong - the whole system is covered rather than leaving you to work out which component to return.

Cheap budget PCs it is hard to beat people like Dell if only because they will pay peanuts for the OS.
