Irrational hate of stuff?

Bit curious about this, I can't imagine having any strong feelings towards her either way, she is about as offensive as toast.

don't know why really, guess she just played annoying roles as a child actor (the girl from war of the worlds is crossed off my christmas card list too :p )

then going off the film radar (well mine anyway), then coming back to the terrible film series that is spiderman

See im the other way, even though on paper she is pretty bland, i have an irrational love for her, i dont know why but i find her incredibly sexy

The amplification of "passion" is incredibly annoying. People should live and work, and not say odd things, and do odd things.

If you've ever felt passion for someone, you'd hardly see it as an amplification. It's not an odd thing but probably the most natural thing there is.

I dislike the numbers "3751058" (in that order) as these are the last digits (I have memorised) of Pi.

What induced you to memorise Pi to 52 decimal places?

My main irrational hatred is seeing people holding mugs by the handle and holding it like it was an enormous bier stein.

My next hatred (which i consider rational) is people starting newspapers from the back. Football should not predominate.

I hate it when people stir their coffee as if they're using a whisk. Pretentious in the extreme.

I generally hate the kind of people you see when you go to a concert, wearing a t-shirt with the band on it. Try some originality.

I hate sarcasm, dryness, or any of that kind of so-called humour. It is not funny, it is taking cheap shots at every opportunity.

I hate people with small mouths, or people who barely open their mouths when speaking. Tory Leader David Cameron being a high-profile example.

I hate being behind women at petrol stations and cash machines. Hurry up, split-arse!

I hate it when people don't understand the difference between opinion and fact. James Blunt is crap. That is a fact. You may like him, that's your opinion. Liking him doesn't alter the fact that he is crap. I like things that I know to be crap. So get with it.

I hate how all sports commentators now use the word "Pace" endlessly. Whether it's chasing a football, belting a golfball, throwing a dart, etc, it's all doing it "with pace". Why??

In the minority there i think dude, almost all british comedy (and IMO the best in the world by far) is based on sarcasm.

If you mean that all the current stuff (that seems to be popular with shallow cretins) is based on sarcasm, then you may be right. Best? Don't talk drivel.

A guy started a our place the other week. He tried the "I've got a very dry sense of humour" approach. I informed him that just so long as he doesn't get facetious with me, ever, then he'll get on just fine.

This comes back to opinion. Most people (well, certainly everyone i know) enjoy sarcastic comedy. Infact i would go as far to say that i only find dry sarcastic comedy funny.

I assume you are not a Jimmy Carr fan then? :D

A few of my irrational hates,
1) I have the OCD regarding stereo's and odd volumes, except multiples of 5. Yep
2) I hate people who flick channels constantly on televisions. Yep
3) I hate Graham Torrington and "late night love". Yep
4) I hate sex in the morning. I wouldn't know about that
5) I hate people who complain that they haven't got enough money. Can be annoying, especially if they spend what money they do have on useless crud
6) I hate people asking probing financial questions. Never had any
7) I hate parents who seemingly have no control over their children. Yep
8) Really really dislike tattoos, on both men and women. Yep, some can be ok but generally no.
9) Hate stupid shops for dumb people, like brighthouse. Many 'cheap' shops annoy me
10) Women with ginger hair :/ No preference, well brunette :) ginger is ok though

Mine would have to be companies that outsource their call centres to foreign lands.

I can see the point, yes it probably is cheap slave labour. But there's a reason so many companies are advertising on television "UK only call center's"

Thats because Mr Average Customer doesn't want to speak to some monkey in a foreign land who can barely string together a sentence in english

too many to list all,

people who insist they have a dissorder/disease/problem that they don't, making others with problems seem like they don't have them. in this thread a load of people seem to think wanting a even/rounded number means they have OCD, it doesn't(i don't have ocd either, but i know someone who does and their life is affected heavily by it, you saying you have it only diminishes his problems in other peoples eyes making life harder for him).

stupid people, papers, 24 news, crappy ref's, crappy commentators, englands insistance to blow up before any event where an english person will take part, insist will will win(despite playing like crap, rugby, tennis, football, athletics, ping pong,) getting overhyped and being bombarded with press coverage then failing because we were never good in the first place.

uk schools, uni's, health care, failing government, people insisting on pretending to be really PC all the time when infact they aren't and theres no reason to be.

religion.

people who seem to think screaming and reacting like idiots to seeing famous people will somehow make their lifes more forfilled and my head not hurt. ridiculous putting of famous people on a peddle stool and thinking they are somehow better than the rest of us, treating them as such and at the same time, treating everyone else worse than they should.

anything xfactor, big brother and celebrity's do something stupid on a show with a gay guy presenting with a stupid voice shows. which includes all other washed up celeb's doing crap work to try to pretend to still be worthwhile.

rappers pretending they are hard and people believing rappers are hard and really kill people, so solid crew, whatever faggoty band it was that did crossroads cover.

people that act "gay" in like a graham norton style, i have no problem with gay people, i know quite a lot and they all act like normal people. graham norton just acts like a pathetic idiot, as do lots of people, its the being an idiot and making a tit out of yourself to get attention part, not the gay part, and i hate all people like that.

to be honest most of that is rational hatred, but most of the stuff in this thread is rational.

irrational hatred, spiders? anyone thats ever been on gmtv, almost all house maker over presenters.

Places that open brand new sealed games and/or dvd's so they can store the boxes on the shelf and the discs in a draw someplace.

So really you hate it is a competitor :p ~ Zefan. (i hope that it isnt a competitor :o)

I hate it when i go into shop and ask an assistant something but the ignore me a couple of times.
