Does anybody watch the featured videos on YouTube's front page?

I used to...now the calibre of the videos put up there are so bad they aren't worth clicking on. There are also loads more featured videos on the front page than when YouTube had a good small selection each day/every few days.

Now the thought of getting a video featured on the front page isn't even exciting, most barely get any hits... whereas at some point, you were guarrenteed about 500 thousand at list if it got up there.

anyone agree?

i hate the 20 second videos of someone walking around that people just upload taken with their phones... argh

some are great but others....pretentious american bints thinking i give a **** as to what they think????

You know the ones where they come on at 23:00 saying today I had some melon for breakfast... why the need to report this to the world

However, it's great for seeing ripped clips from comedy shows like Alan Partridge (Dan) and Bowie on Extras

There was much hype recently about a girl who can find places on a map... well my son who can't read can name all 42 thomas the tank engine characters from very small photos on the back of a TTTE book. Kids can do these things easily no biggie really so why the hype?

Probably because some americans couldn't find america on the map hehe.

I agree with the OP, they used to be largely entertaining, now they just suck the big one.
