I've had my new build for a while now and I'm looking for a new case to house it in. I love my pc-7 but I find it a little cramped, especially as I hope to be fitting watercooling in the future.
I'm after a large case with loads of space inside, I don't mind how large, in fact the bigger the better. I'm looking for a case that has a side window included or is available seperately. I really like the look of the coolermaster stacker but it has a mesh panel, I don't know how easy this is to replace with perspex, or if the mesh is quite see-through anyway. Also seen the eclipse highly recommended but not sure if it's as big as i'm looking for. Any other cases I should be looking at? my max spend is £100 but I could possibly squeeze a little more if there's something exceptional just outside my bracket. Thanks in advance guys!

i love the look of these,
Lian Li A70B
think there out at the end of this month ,will be looking at getting one myself
look ideal for water cooling but i think they will be close to £150

Cheers for that one (A70B), it's nice and large, and there's a side window option, I'm just not that impressed with the look of it. I don't hate it, it's just kind of 'meh'.

have a look on there web site mate there also releasing one with a door i believe its 71 instead of 70 see if that floats your boat any more

Antec 1200 is £89 when it finally hits the shops, or an old shape Stacker will fit 2x120.3's if you're creative.

i love the a71, but is there going to be a window for it?

Same chassis as the A70, just with a door (and fan filters)..... bit like the V1100 and V1000..

Thus any window that will fit the A70 will fit the A71.

:o

Fugly...... I really dislike the 83x series as TBH they are way overpriced for what you get..... Not only is the airflow badly though out, but most tower heatsinks seem to foul the 4x120mm array. The design of the top means it's pretty imposible to mod to fit a rad other than a 120.1 on the top fan, probably max a 120.2 in the front bays (that'll kill 7 of the 9 bays btw), and you loose most of your HDD space in the process. Sure, you could hang a 120.2 out the back, but you could do that in pretty much any case.

For £164.49 (and ive seen it for much more than that) there are better choices out there tbh.

My A71 i recon i could fit a 120.2 and 120.3 internaly, and retain 3 5 1/4" bays (plus my fan controler in one of the partialy obstructed ones), plus all the main HDD bays (though you'd need to move them "back" slightly). You'd lose the 2nd PSU area with its 120mm fan and HDD rack, but i think you will strugle to find a case that you can seriosuly WC without losing anything.

Other good considerations:

G70: the A70/71 was based on this case, its massive thing, closer to your budget too

V1000: Nice layout, clean lines, good use of internal space, plenty of modding options

STC-T01: Simple, classic lines, INSANELY BIG, within budget if you shop around (the only decent stacker IMO)

did this thread really need resurection from a week ago..... i'm sure if the Op still needed help he could ask.

Not to mention the Cosmos is outside his price range, doesnt have a window, and is designed more for slience rather than space like the STC-T01.

Well guys I've got my new case now, which in fact isn't new :D

My uncle wanted rid of his pc70 as it was too big for him so we swapped cases. It's a perfect size upgrade from a pc7, and thanks for your help guys!
