Last quick question before i call for my long awaite upgrade.

What are the easiest ways to get money off. Im nor brilliant at haggling and i just want to get something extra for my loyaltyof god knows how many years.

Any advice whatsoever would be appreciated. Still dont have a clue which phone i want either.

Thanks

Sorry! 02

Currently on £25 p/m with free w810i 18 months ago, regularly spend more though. get 750 texts and 150 xnet minutes.

OK so phoned up and had to make no effort whatsoever for what i considered to be a reasonable deal. For £25 a month, i get 600 xnet mins, 1000 texts and unlimited o2 calls. Then a free XDA orbit and the satnav aswell.

Im htinking about adding the £7.50 data bundle aswell, do you think i could get that added on at a discounted price. I don't think i did too badly but thats my first ever experience of o2 upgrades. Could i have tried harder/got a better deal?

i'd say you've done well, that's normally £150 odd isn't it?

Deffo get the data bundle (very unlikely to get it discounted), O2 data chargers are eye watering. When i went for my upgrade i asked for the data bundle then used £40 quids worth of data the next month (it's something like £2.50 a meg after the free 1 meg) only to find out i hadn't been put on the bundle. Lucky for me O2 took me at my word and refunded me

Just phoned up myself to get a better deal for my sister

New phone (K810i); 400 anytime, any network minutes; 1000 texts; unlimited calls to O2 mobiles.

£20 a month for 18 months including free bluetooth printer. Yes please.

Just a quick question regarding the fact theyve changed my included minutes etc. Does it take effect straight away or would it be from the start of next month (so after the end of the 18 month contract?)

I think some networks are different, i know vodafone is instant and the minutes and stuff are pro-rata'd, dont know how the other networks work
