Anyone annoyed by Julie Burchill? (or even know her :p)

Theres this woman on sky one that presents the occasional program called Julie Burchill, and she is the most one sided stupid No Swearing! in the world.

Ive seen her in 2 prgrams - one called chavs, and spice girls : 10 years of girl power.

She is totally one sided in everything she does and it really annoys me. Not so much in the spice girls thing, but definitly on the chavs program.

Anyone else annoyed by her, or is it just me?

P.S sorry for the moan lol
 
By one sided do you mean opinionated?

I don't see how you can be one sided on the subjects of spice girls and chavs.

Take this for example. From the Chavs program.

This woman that appeared on an episode of wifeswap was getting fame and exposure after it. Now this woman did nothing for this fame, she didnt work, she has something stupid like 6-8 kids of which we have to pay for through taxes and was a general No Swearing!.

Why should she gain fame for doing so nothing? (same could be said for Jade Goody aswell - she is like the scum version of Jade Goody lol which says something!)

When she was presented with these questions/facts, she couldnt face it and she thought that she definitely should have fame and was being extremely No Swearing! over it, mainly because she had no reason for saying it.
 
I have hated her since she was a jumped up opinionated journo. on The NME.
Her love of Brighton as the centre of the known universe grates as well.

aghhh that reads so much like the drivel we get from our communications officer at manu uni, who strangely seams to have some massive grudge against Israel, but also writes in that same annoying style.

If i ever meat either of them its staby staby time.
 
Yup, I do get annoyed by the bandwagon jumping, over-opinionated, spiteful cow. Stopped reading her articles in the Guardian in the hope that she'd go away, then she turned up on TV, claiming to be a chav and whinging that people locked up their houses to stop Chav's sharing them. Since that program I'd not run into any of her journalistic efforts, and hadn't even thought about her once, bliss.
 
What's worrying is that I know who she is, she wrote Sugar Rush, some TV show set in Brighton about lesbians that was on Channel 4 no long ago. I ended up watching it with my girlfriend for some reason.

Under-informed, over-opinionated, semi-sucessful media whore. Wants to be funny but isn't. Wants to be clever but isn't. Wants to be working class but isn't. I occasionally read her zionistic guff in the Guardian's Weekend magazine and it, almost without failiure, made me wish a painful death upon her.

She has produced nothing at all of worth so far.
