really torn over wether to get this or not, Iv had it on pre order for months, and can only really afford 1 game till the end of the month.

Hmm to keep this or cancel and get COD4, or mass effect..... still need to pick up PES as well, thats it, ill have to tell my family christamas is cancelled :D
 
Looks like my fears (which I voiced several months back) about the dumb AI have not been fixed. That for me would completely ruin the game. There's a part about 6:30 into the review vid on Gametrailers that made me :rolleyes:

It's such basic stuff and when you encounter it in a game complete ruins the immersion.

I'll be passing on this I think. Next up, Mass Effect. Will the reviews put me off that too....
 
Is anyone aware of any PS3 reviews for this, or any confirmed in-game PS3 footage?

It looks gorgeous on the 360 and looks really smooth, hoping the PS3 version is just as good.
 
A.I in this game seems rubbish from what I saw in GT's video review..

Still probably gonna buy it though I think just not this week im gonna buy something else instead :|

From what I've heard the two a more or less identical, the main difference being the PS3 has slightly less jaggies.

I don't get the reviews who say "gamers are used to pressing jump" when its time to jump, and then list that as a flaw in the game. Like 1up says, it doesn't have that in Zelda and nobody has EVER picked on it or even mention it when they review Zelda games, so why particularly pick on it here in this instance.
 
the A.I does seem like it may be a game breaker, crying shame if it is.

Think this is an ideal game to rent to be honest, seems its a bit of a 1 trick poney, be fantastic to play for a couple of days then it will just sit gathering dust.
 
just watched the gametrailers review - looks awesome but yeah the enemy AI in combat seems to be a bit of a dud. Wont put me off getting it.
 
iv just tried to cancel mine, but its showing as 'preparing order', iv sent them an email so hopefully they can cancel in time, if not its not the end of the world.

Cancelled preorder and lost all faith in Ubisoft. I've just read that the AI is a lot reminiscent of Heavenly Sword's as well, where they all just stand around you, and take it in turns to take a single unenthusiastic swipe. Followed by invisible walls everywhere, and a hefty dose of linearity. Sounds like a pretty misleading buildup to the game from Ubisoft if you ask me to be honest.

What it is, it was well over hyped because of that woman Jade they used in most videos, gaming nerds got trix'd online by her 'hot looks' and forced to buy game :p

I might not buy it till i see it cheap tbh. Got mass effect on monday anyway, right?
