Just purchased this board...nice board as well much quieter than my Asus P5B Deluxe.

Anyway I am having a few problems with the CPU Fan. I have a Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 120mm Fan on a Scythe Ninja-PLUS Rev B. It's plugged in ok but I am having to give it a kick start with my finger to get the fan going..and when it does go it's only spinning @ 405rpm max. It starts on boot up for about a second then stops then needs a little flick with the finger to get it going.

Anyone any idea on what could be the problem here?

Try turning off smart fan control or something, cant remember the the option, had a similiar thing where it would hardly spin.

dont worry about it, its just the PWM on the board, as soon as CPU reaches a certain temp it will start the fan up, its temp controlled so as its so cold on startup, it doesnt need the fan on.
