My little prison cell.

Gonna get it fixed up in the next month after my brother's room is done.

Raikiri how do you find the Rome Leather chair? I've been tempted to get one for a while now as would work quite nicely with the decor and looks very comfortable!

OT: what did you think of it? (I'm writing about this novel for my school personal study)

I do not generally like fiction, but this novel was not as bad as the average novel (this does suggest, and I am aware of it, hence my typing of this, that I have an initial negative opinion, albeit slight, or any work of fiction).

I believe I read the novel twice due to the protagonist being a venerable character (in my opinion) due to his Mathematical skills. (The novel was suggested to me by my mother).

It must be stated that I read the novel twice in relatively close succession (I believe), and this was many years ago.

My computer room next door contains my PC's, dual monitors, Xbox 360, 6.1 speakers, blah blah blah. It's noisy but I don't care and it means my bedroom is always silent.

It's the way forward.

Correct. Only trouble I have is I am that light a sleeper that if both computers are on in the computer room I have trouble getting to sleep.

People have far to much electrical tat in their bedrooms. We have an electric alarm clock and that's it. Bedrooms are for sleeping in and other stuff so should be nice and relaxing and free of stupid bleeping whirring electrical items...

In an ideal world that's great, but when you live with your parents it tends to be the case that you live out of one room. I'm lucky since we moved, I get two very small rooms, and I much prefer it to having one big room, because as you say, the only electrical stuff in my bedroom is a lamp, and whatever I've got on charge. But when I only had one room, I had no choice but to keep all my electrical stuff in there.

As it is, all my gadgets and doodahs are crammed into my little living room along with a desk and sofa, and all that's in my bedroom is bed, wardrobes, shelving stacked full of DVDs and assorted crap (no room in the sitting room) and chests of drawers for me and my girlfriend.

It badly needs decorating, it's got footballs on the borders, it was a kid's room before we moved in and it's horrendous :D
